Mathias Burghardt joined AXA Private Equity on September 2007.
Previously, he joined the AXA Group in August 2005 to set up and head it’s Infrastructure investment business. He began his career in 1989 within Crédit Lyonnais’ Media Telecom team. He has 15 years of experience in the field of infrastructure financing, having created and led this type of activity in France and in Spain.
Prior to joining the AXA Group, he headed HSBC’s Advisory and Project Financing activities in France.

Michael Reuther joined AXA Private Equity in Frankfurt in September 2007 as Investment Director in the LBO Mid cap team. In 2009 he moved to the Infrastructure team.

Laurent Fayollas joined AXA Private Equity on September 2007. He joined the Infrastructure team in 2005.
Previously, he worked for 8 years as a Director within the Crédit Lyonnais and Calyon Infrastructure and Environment teams. During those years, he gained a deep understanding and an in-depth knowledge of those sectors, while structuring landmark transactions.
Before, he worked for 2 years within the Structured Finance Credit Department and for 6 years for the Crédit Lyonnais IT department with a focus on capital markets.

Benoît Gaillochet joined AXA Private Equity in September 2007.
Before joining the Infrastructure team in 2005, he worked for three years within HSBC’s project finance team in Paris, where he acted as advisor and debt arranger on big infrastructure projects. Previously, he worked for six years with Crédit Lyonnais in structured finance.

Marion Calcine joined AXA Private Equity in September 2007.
She joined the Infrastructure team in 2006, during her last year of studies, and has been working therein full time since July 2007.

Rodolphe Brumm joined AXA Private Equity in September 2007.
Before joining the Infrastructure team in 2007, he participated in the creation of Natixis infrastructure fund.
He also worked for three years in Vinci Concessions, and two years within UBS Warburg in London, where he started his career.

Elise Nemirowski joined AXA Private Equity in September 2008 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team. Elise also achieved in September 2007 a ten-month internship within the LBO Small Cap team.
Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, she carried out a six-month internship with Capgemini Consulting and a three-month internship with France Télécom.

Alexis Ballif joined AXA Private Equity on November 2008 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris where he already carried out an internship from May to October 2008.
Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, he carried out various internships within Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Société Paris Ouest Construction and within Solgas in Spain.

Andrew Liau joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in March 2009. Andrew has been working in the European Infrastructure sector based in London since 2003.
Prior to joining, he was the European Investment Manager within Colonial First State Global Asset Management and a founding member of their European Infrastructure team where he gained experience in transactions, asset management and fundraising. Andrew also spent 6 years within RBC Capital Markets, including 3 years as part of their Infrastructure Finance Group (London) and before that 3 years in their Investment Banking Division (Canada).

Thierry Denoyel joined AXA Private Equity in 2005 as controller, direct funds where he had been in charge of the Infrastructure funds since 2007. In 2009, he moved to the infrastructure team. Before joining AXA Private Equity, Thierry held various internships : LVMH (Paris) and Alcan Pechiney (London).

Before joining AXA Private Equity in 2007, Stefano Mion worked at Merrill Lynch as an Associate in the European Leveraged Finance Team in London, UBS Investment Bank in Milan in the Corporate Finance Team after 3 years spent at JP Morgan in London.
He performed several internships with Lazard Frères & Co. in New York and Goldman Sachs in London.

Amir Sharifi joined AXA Private Equity in 2007 as Investment Manager in the Co-investment team then became Head of corporate development & communications. In June 2010, he became member of the infrastructure team. He previously worked for five years as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger in Paris focusing on strategy and operational improvement projects in the sectors of utilities and financial services.

Lorraine d’Halluin joined AXA Private Equity in February 2010 as an Analyst within the infrastructure team in London. She formerly was an intern in AXA Private Equity infrastructure group from June to December 2009. She has also completed various internships at the following companies: SNCF, BNP Paribas and TF1.
Polytechnic School of Milan
Rosario Mazza joined AXA Private Equity in June 2010. He previously spent one year at Generali’s infrastructure fund as an Analyst and one year in Project Finance in BNP Paribas.
Pauline Thomson joined AXA Private Equity on February 2011 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris where she already completed a one-year internship. Before joining AXA Private Equity, she completed a six-month internship within Terrafirma Capital Partners Ltd. Pauline Thomson also spent two months within our Investor Relations team in July-August 2007.
