He has 15 years of experience in the field of infrastructure financing, having created and led this type of activity in France and in Spain.

Philippe Poletti joined AXA Private Equity in 1999.

He began his career in consulting in 1990 at Solving International in Paris and Milan. Bruno Ladrière joined AXA Private Equity in 2002.

Laurent Roquette joined AXA Private Equity Co-Investment Team in September 2006 in Paris as Senior Investment Manager then moved to the LBO Mid Cap team in 2008.

Marion Calcine joined AXA Private Equity in September 2007.

She joined the Infrastructure team in 2006, during her last year of studies, and has been working therein full time since July 2007.

Dominique Senequier graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1972 and holds a DEA (post-graduate degree) in Banking and Monetary Economics from the Sorbonne. A member of the French Actuarial Institute.

Dominique Senequier joined AXA Group in early 1996 and founded AXA Private Equity. At GAN from 1987 to 1995, she created and developed the subsidiary GAN Participations. Prior to that she was Group Acquisitions Manager at GAN from 1980-1987, and from 1975-1980 worked for the French Insurance Commission.

Vincent Gombault has a master’s degree in Financial Techniques from ESSEC and a DESS (post-graduate professional degree) in Banking and Finance. He also holds a degree in Law and a master’s degree in Economics.

Before joining AXA Private Equity in 1998, where he developed and managed the funds of funds business, Vincent Gombault worked in AXA Group’s Industrial Holdings department (1991-1998) after a spell as Investment Manager in the M&A department of Société Générale. He began his career at the French Trade Commission in Detroit (USA). He also lectures at ESSEC.

Stephan Illenberger holds an MBA from the University of Munich and an MA in Economics from Chicago University.

Before launching AXA Private Equity Germany in 2001, Stephan Illenberger was a Managing Partner of Doertenbach & Co, an independent management company for three years. Prior to this, he was Head of Corporate Finance Germany at NatWest Markets and CEO of York Hannover. From 1987-1992 he was Director of Bayerische Vereinsbank in the M&A department. He started his career at McKinsey.

Christophe Florin holds an MBA in Finance from Université de Laval, Québec and also graduated from IEP Paris. 

Christophe Florin joined AXA Private Equity in 1998 and has directed the Asian business since 2005. He is also responsible for the administration and finance, legal and human resources departments. Previously he worked in GAN's unlisted company investments department, in the company “Développement et Partenariat” and at the “Crédit National”.

Paul de La Morinière joined AXA Private Equity in 2008 after an internship within the Co-Investment team in 2007.

He also held internships at RBS Corporate Finance and at Pictet Investment Research.

Mark Benedetti joined AXA Private Equity in 2006.

He previously worked as an Associate with KPMG Corporate Finance, where he focused on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising advisory. Before Corporate Finance, he worked as a Senior Accountant with KPMG. Previously, he joined KPMG in 2002. While attending university, he interned with Bell Canada Enterprises’ Finance and Treasury Department.

Marie Arnaud-Battandier joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in March 31st, 2008 as a Senior Investment Manager within the Small Cap Buyout team.

Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, she worked during 6 years within Acto- Finama Private Equity, and within Granville Baird Investment Bank where she began her career in 1997.

Rodolphe Brumm joined AXA Private Equity in September 2007.

Before joining the Infrastructure team in 2007, he participated in the creation of Natixis infrastructure fund.

He performed several internships with Lazard Frères & Co. in New York and Goldman Sachs in London.

Thomas Wilfling joined AXA Private Equity in 2008. He started his career with HypoVereinsbank in Munich in 1997 in Global Structured and Project Financing where he conducted and later led numerous transactions in emerging markets.

Andrew Liau joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in March 2009. Andrew has been working in the European Infrastructure sector based in London since 2003.

Prior to joining, he was the European Investment Manager within Colonial First State Global Asset Management and a founding member of their European Infrastructure team where he gained experience in transactions, asset management and fundraising. Andrew also spent 6 years within RBC Capital Markets, including 3 years as part of their Infrastructure Finance Group (London) and before that 3 years in their Investment Banking Division (Canada).

Amir Sharifi joined AXA Private Equity in 2007 as Investment Manager in the Co-investment team then became Head of corporate development & communications. In June 2010, he became member of the infrastructure team. He previously worked for five years as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger in Paris focusing on strategy and operational improvement projects in the sectors of utilities and financial services.
